The 1.7.0 app update is rolling out to the App Store and Google Play.

Sign up for a specific shift role from the app
Open an event, pick a shift and the role you want, or add another shift later. Who has taken each slot updates live on every device, and a tap shows everyone in a slot with their SAR ID and a call button.
Plan an event with shifts from your phone
The new event form walks through what, when, where, shifts, contact and publish. Each shift is either general volunteers or specific roles, with simple counters for how many you need.
Say you can’t make it
On an event with shifts, one tap marks you not attending and takes you off your shifts. Leaving a single shift is still there for when only one day changes.
Members hidden from the roster are no longer paged
Someone an admin has hidden receives no callouts, reminders or invitations and does not appear in any member list.

A cleaner, denser list with search, availability filters, and Inactive / On Leave members in their own section. Multi-day events show each day clearly.
